[Last Chance] Anna University Special Arrear Exam for REG 2011 Students till Nov/Dec 2019

Anna University announced one final chance for those students who’ve exceeded maximum time limit to complete their papers.

Students from Regulations 2011 & later who’ve completed course but still have arrears in U.G / P.G papers may Apply for Nov/Dec 2019 Special Arrear exam.

Will there be another chance after Nov/Dec session ? . Clearly there will be no another chance.

As per official stats from Anna University, there are more than 30,000 students who still have arrears.

Official Notification for Special Arrear exam Nov/Dec 2019 will be uploaded as soon as Anna University releases it online.

What About Regulations 2008 ?

Many candidates have also requested if there’s another chance for Regulation 2008 students.

But Anna University has made no confirmation on last chance for Regulation 2008 students but said it’s looking at numbers.

There are only 320 students from Regulation 2008 still have arrears , so chances are very less.

How to Register for Arrear Exam on Anna University :

Official Notification: Click Here

  • Kindly follow the Instructions for Registration
  • Login into their Student Login in Web Portal “coe1.annauniv.edu”.
  • Click Reg-Preview Tab in Student Login.
  • Download your Registration Preview request form by clicking the link Feb. / Mar. Examination, 2018 provided and also to select your Preference of Examination Centre provided in the drop down box
  • The candidates are requested to ensure that arrear subjects mentioned in the registration
  • preview form are correct before registering their names for examinations.
  • if discrepancies are noticed, Please make your entries in the Remarks Column and also it should be reported immediately to the Office of the Controller of Examinations Web Portal Intercom 044-22357303.
  • As per the earlier Notification, only one college is identified as Examination Centre in each district. Hence select the Examination Centre carefully as your choice.
  • The Printed copy of Registration Preview form and the examination fees in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Controller of Examinations, Anna University, Ch-25, should be handed over in-person to the Examination Centre from 15-11-2017 to 05-12-2017 to enable your Registration for arrear exams to be held during February 2018 Session by the

Once the Examination centre is selected that will be treated as final and no change of centre will be entertained.

Last Date to Submit Application / DD : December 5th, 2017

So, many students requested Anna University to give Additional time to clear arrear papers.

The reason for such issue is, Anna University Guidelines tell students ” Last Chance to Appear for Arrear exams ” is maximum two years from the year of completion of degree.

But unfortunately some students didn’t made it to clear those papers, with still pending arrears & the deadline crossed, students really facing tough challenges of paying upto Rs.5000 per paper.

In a good move , Anna University announced it is extending last & final chance for students who have pending arrears upto April/May 2016 .

You may Apply for Anna Univ Nov/Dec exams paying regular arrear exam fee to the respective college admin .

Keep this in mind, this is final chance , so you have to clear these papers within this duration .

Students who’ve admitted at following years are eligible to Appear for Nov/Dec 2019 Special arrear exams .

Do note, Anna university to implement New Question pattern from upcoming nov/dec exams.

  26. I am from 2001 regulation(2005 Pass-out), by Gods grace, i have completed my arrears(7 Papers) on Aug-18, i know the pain of failures a lot. I didn’t even tried once to clear the arrears from 2006 to 2018) for 12yrs i didn’t bothered to complete. By luck while i was browsing the webpage, i got to know about the Special Arrears Exams (that too, my wife compelled to do so). Without Degree, my Professional life was horrible, i have to stick with the current job, couldn’t jump to another company where Degree is must.
    So, I kindly request Anna University Officials to look into below Students future & Career.
    I’ll pray for you all to get your arrear papers cleared.
    Hint: 1)Kindly refer AU (COE/ACOE) or even mykalvi websites regularly. 2) Once registered kindly go in person to Anna University library for Old/Model Question Papers as per your Year of regulations that will be very very much helpful to clear your papers. 3) At-least spend 1-2 hour a day to cover the syllabus(If it is arithmetic/mathematics kindly write & practice formulae). 4) While writing the exam don’t leave any questions, try to attend all.

    • Thank you so much yaar. Im a 2002-2006 batch. I have 5 arrears and haven’t taken any measure to write them. But now i want to do. And by god’s grace they announced for it. Even with a 12+ years of work exp, i couldn’t join in big companies cuz of this backlog. Thanks for ur suggestions. Where should we ask for those Qpapers?. It’s really hard to search for syllabus too.

I’m 2014 passed I got 2 papers cleared out of 5, without this engineering degree i could never get through my carrier and life, help us to to clear the papers and to get the degree, even the last chance of August 2018 had gone.     • As of now there’s no official notification regarding that for candidates to appear for Nov/Dec 2018 exams. Please contact officials through AU COE phone numbers to know more info.

    • Write a letter to AU controller of examinations to keep re exam .They will decide to keep re exam depending on how many students have requested for it.You will know the decision after Dec 10 2018.
