If you’re having BSNL Fiber connection and the internet service is not working, here’s how to solve it.
The majority of the problems that arise with Fiber line is the PON not showing Green, LOS showing RED ( Loss of Signal ).
Is there any solution to make it work ourselves ?
Well, the reason for this problem is, there’s a big chance that lightning fiber is broken somewhere from you nearest point of connection .
If your fiber line is provided by BSNL , then there’s less chance that this often happens.
If your BSNL fiber is provided by local cable operator, then there’s more chance that this LOS showing RED problem happens often.
Because, local cable operator has so many connecting points from where his Control Room is, to your home.
But BSNL will provide connection direct from the Base Station to nearby Post and then to your home.
How to Solve BSNL Fiber not working problem ?
- Login to BSNL selfcare portal
- Raise Technical Complaint
- Select ” ONT’/LOS ” problem
- click SUBMIT
- You’ll get SMS confirmation regarding the ticket raised.
Within next 24 hours, BSNL technical person or from local operator will come and check Loss of Signal or break in fiber line.
If there’s Loss of Signal ( LOS ) due to cable break, they’ll slice the fiber line and it’ll work like before.
That’s how it needs to be resolved.
