How to resolve BSNL Fiber Not Working?
Nowadays, there are several Fiber broadband providers in Cities say ACT, Tikona, Hathaway, and the Jio Fiber.
But in Rural & Remote areas such as Villages, and small towns, there’s no Fiber connectivity, there are some private broadband providers but most of the country’s towns & villages are connected by BSNL broadband which the speed varies from 2mbps to 10mbps with Unlimited data.
BSNL BharatNet fiber plans were announced a few days ago as reported by media, the plan starts at Rs.777 and goes all the way upto Rs.17000.
The maximum Speed offered by BSNL FTTH or BhartNet is 100mbps as of now, maybe even higher speed plans would be launched in near future.
Your details will be registered and a customer care executive will call you to proceed further with checking feasibility and installation details.
If your area is not under coverage, you’ll need to wait before it comes to your locality.
Why Launch BharatNet in Cities?
Many raise questions on social media platforms such as Twitter, Why launch BharatNet FTTH service in Cities when there are a lot of players providing the service letting people to have a choice for fiber broadband?
But in Rural, small towns, there’s no fiber provider and so if BharatNet service is launched in those areas, a lot of people would be interested and get the service.
In cities, BSNL would compete against big Private players like Jio, Airtel, ACT etc but in rural, it’s literally no competition area where BSNL can capture considerable numbers in market share.
Many are unhappy with the present government regarding the role out of BharatNet which was announced 4 years ago but still made no progress until recently.
Which is Better BSNL or Jio Fiber ?
In short, Jio fiber is a lot better. Though some factors to consider when deciding between the two include internet speeds, pricing, and customer service. But BSNL as you know has been non-customer friendly, so when you have no choice go for BSNL, otherwise it’s Jio fiber would be the best option.
Is BSNL fiber 5G?
No! BSNL does not currently offer 5G internet services. BSNL’s high-speed internet services are offered under its Bharat Fiber brand, which provides broadband connectivity using fiber optic cables. 5G is the next generation of mobile internet technology, which offers faster speeds and lower latency compared to previous generations of mobile networks. BSNL has not announced any plans to launch 5G services at this time.
Which Plan is best for BSNL fiber?
Rs.799 plan is best for a normal family with up to 4 devices, though the ideal plan depends on individual needs and preferences. Some factors to consider when choosing a plan include the number of devices that will be connected to the internet, the type of activities that will be performed online (such as streaming or gaming), and the budget.
Is the router free with BSNL fiber?
A router is not provided for free with a BSNL Bharat Fiber connection and must be purchased separately. You can purchase a router from a BSNL cable operator or online from a reputable retailer. It is advisable to research and compare the available options to choose a router that is compatible with your BSNL Bharat Fiber connection and meets your needs. You can also contact BSNL customer service for assistance in selecting and purchasing a router.
BharatNet fiber service as you know is provided by BSNL, there’s no separate department working, so the service quality is not as great as existing Fiber net providers like ACT, Jio, Airtel.
Although the customer support is worse in some areas maintained by BSNL itself, in the areas where local cable operators maintain, the service has been good as the other private players.
