If you’re having BSNL Fiber connection and the internet service is not working, here’s how to solve it.
The majority of the problems that arise with the Fiber lines is the PON not showing Green, and LOS showing RED ( Loss of Signal ).
Is there any solution to make it work ourselves?
Well, the reason for this problem is, there’s a big chance that lightning fiber is broken somewhere from your nearest point of connection.
If your fiber line is provided by BSNL, then there’s less chance that this often happens.
If your BSNL fiber is provided by the local cable operator, then there’s more chance that this LOS showing RED problem happens often.
Why ?
Because, local cable operator has so many connecting points from where his Control Room is, to your home.
But BSNL will provide a connection directly from the Base Station to the nearby Post and then to your home.
How to Solve BSNL Fiber not working problem?
- Login to BSNL selfcare portal
- Raise Technical Complaint
- Select ” ONT’/LOS ” problem
- click SUBMIT
- You’ll get SMS confirmation regarding the ticket raised.
Within the next 24 hours, BSNL technical person or from the local operator will come and check the Loss of Signal or break in the fiber line.
BSNL Fiber PON Blinking Issue
If the PON led blinking, mean it needs to be resolved by the service provider, simply contact your cable operator/ISP provider and they should be able to fix it immediately.
If there’s a Loss of Signal ( LOS ) due to a cable break, they’ll slice the fiber line and the internet line will be back as normal.
That’s how it needs to be resolved.

My ftth connection is 297733 w.e.f 22 June. Till 5 july line never remain ok. Mostly LOS was red.no regular and continuous supply even now. Made so many complains on 18003451500. Shown resolved but never resolved. The LCO never show any interest in attending complaint immediately. Perhaps he might not have trained and expert staff except for paying lines. SDO and other staff cooperating . Now the line showing loc red since morning on 26.7.20 and til now no wifi . I am member of national legal authority through DLSA narnaul and HSLA and has to work on line. But the supply of ftth is not satisfactory, continuous and regular at Narnaul. Complaints made at 18003451500 always show complaint resolved without asking or verifying from me.

You are reaching out to people who don’t bother about customers …
I have raised online request for new BSNL Fibre connection since months and as expected no one called me for any query or something. I called the customer care and they told, sir, you will get call soon its been 3 weeks again no progress.
Then I went to office and got to know they are not providing any connection from office and don’t bother about any of online request, hehe thats only for showing purpose it seems. They informed the person & gave me vendor contact, who is providing connections in my ward. These vendors are so full of themselves, he didn’t picked my & even others calls since last month, I have called for almost thrice in a day and even texted.. then I escalated from higher authorities in BSNL office exchange and they again committed me with sure connection & guess what no progress.
Latest updates some people are giving connection in black with 7500/- without any bill & receiver on your pocket strange naa …. I even opted for that and asked the local technician its been a 3 weeks again, I think they need more money :) or ministry links for getting a new BSNL connection.
You can get the idea people they don’t give a damn about us customers, & no one taking their job seriously.
Thankfully JIO lines are spreading out in cities and I am waiting for that now… I lost my hope for BSNL

Tried reaching out to customer care executive more than 10 times, still no technical team has come or contacted us. It’s been 4 days and wifi is not working. The router is showing red light.
