TNPSC Assistant Agricultural Officer exam results 2019 date for the recruitment exam conducted on April 7th, 2019 .

Tamil nadu Public Service Commission to fill Assistant Agricultural Officer for a total vacancies of 580 posts all over the state.
TNPSC AAO Exam Result Date 2019: JULY 2019
Notification & Online registration for the recruitment was opened on December 27th, 2018 on TNPSC portal.
Candidates who’ve got eligibility criteria were given time frame until January 27th, 2019 to apply online.
After the scrutiny of the registered forms, TNPSC released hall ticket for AAO exam in the last week of March 2019.
There were two papers conducted in the Forenoon and Afternoon session for 3 hours and 2 hours respectively.
Other interesting news is that TNPSC also conducted Assistant System Engineer & Analyst post exam on the same day on April 7th, 2019 , result for ASE and ASA exam also expected to come out in JUNE end 2019.
Minimum Marks ( Cut off ):
As per official notification, the minimum marks a candidate need to score is set to 150 & 200. Know it in detail below,
- Minimum Marks for SC / ST / SCA / BC / BCM : 150
- Minimum Marks for Others : 200
- Maximum Marks for All : 500
The total marks includes Paper 1, Paper 2 exam marks combined.
Selection List:
TNPSC will publish selection list of candidates for the post Assistant Agricultural Officer with register number on it.
So candidates who’ve appeared for the exam have to look for register number if he/she is on the selected list of candidates.
Selection Procedure:
- Selection of Assistant Agricultural Officer post is based on Written examination.
- First the selection will be made for the carried forward vacancies of the TN servants.
- Second, the selection will be made for regular vacancies in following rule of reservation.
- Third, selection against shortfall vacancies will be made from among ST applicants only.
