  • Chemistry: 160/180
  • Biology: 360/360

  • OBC/SC/ST: 96

Tamilnadu Medical Counselling Schedule 2018

  • Medical Counselling for Tamilnadu Students Begins: July 25, 2018
  • All India Medical Counselling 1st Phase Dates: June 25 to July 5, 2018
  • 2nd Phase Medical Counselling : July 15 – 26, 2018

Following the release of results, CBSE has also released state wise pass percentage in which Tamil Nadu has got 39.7% which is not good in terms of performance.

Out of total 13.2 lakhs students who appeared for NEET entrance exam , only 71,000+ students gets qualified or passed the exam.

While many are waiting for the info on How many students out of passed out 40,000 are from Govt schools, Private & CBSE schools, many from the state disappointed with the way the result has come out.

Especially, from a well developed State like Tamil Nadu, many were expecting the pass percentage to be above 60% at the least.

Turned out it’s a big big disappointment for educationalists, tamilnadu govt and most importantly parents & students who had dream on becoming MBBS & BDS doctor to serve people.

Though many precautious actions were taken by govt like setting up NEET coaching centres in tamilnadu across each districts, and recently syllabus for lower class students has been revised in order to develop them compete against those studying in CBSE or Private schools.

State govt also going to open more NEET exam coaching institutes across Tamil nadu in the coming months for the next academic year admissions 2019.
